I got writer's block while trying to write the lyrics, so I turned to AI... yes, I did. It came up with interesting, but childish lyrics, so I cut some stuff, repeated other stuff and was really happy with how the lyrics came out.
Musically I think this song really combines my love of the heavy riff with my goth sensibilities. I was very happy that Anthony Difiglio liked that song as well and was willing to add a guitar solo to it.
